A Bit Scary ...

What does anyone say to this?  Can anyone really blame me for not wanting this on my street?  Granted, it could happen anywhere, but in this case, it did not ... it happened at a Walmart owned property, and Walmart happens to want to build something on my street.

It is extremely sad, and I'm very sorry to read this today.  From Chron.com -

A woman was found shot to death in her car parked at a Wal-Mart in southwest Houston early this morning.

She was discovered slumped in front seat of the car in the store parking lot at the in the 11700 block of Beechnut near South Kirkwood just after midnight, police said.

The woman, whose name has not been released, had been shot at least once in the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said it appeared the woman had been shot sometime between about 10:30 p.m. and midnight. It does not appear to be a suicide, investigators said. But police did not reveal what led them to that conclusion.

Investigators have no suspects or motive in the shooting. They said the woman's purse was in the car when she was discovered.
